Radiodetection u-LOCATE Direct Connection Lead Set

The Radiodetection u-LOCATE Direct Connection Lead Set is designed for directly applying a transmitter signal to a conductive underground utility. Used with compatible u-LOCATE locating equipment, the lead set provides a direct connection between the transmitter and the target pipe or cable for active utility tracing.

Direct connection can provide a strong, controlled locating signal when operators have access to a suitable connection point on the utility.

Direct Signal Application for Utility Locating

When a conductive pipe or cable can be safely accessed, the direct connection lead allows the locator transmitter to apply a signal directly to the target utility.

The corresponding receiver can then trace that signal from above ground, helping operators determine the path and position of the buried line.
