Schonstedt u-LOCATE Pipe & Cable Locator
The Schonstedt u-LOCATE Pipe & Cable Locator is a lightweight utility locating system designed to help contractors identify buried utilities before digging. Combining an easy-to-use receiver with a compact 1-watt transmitter, the u-LOCATE provides a practical solution for locating water, gas, telecom, and live power utilities.
The standard u-LOCATE operates at an 82 kHz active frequency and also features a 50/60 Hz passive power mode for identifying live power cables.
Locate Underground Utilities with Confidence
The u-LOCATE is designed to make utility locating approachable and efficient in the field. Its high-frequency active signal provides precise location of water, gas, and telecom lines, while passive mode allows operators to identify live power cables without applying a transmitter signal.
